Tutoring Fees: The primary cost associated with using TutorDB is the tutoring fee, which is set by the individual tutors based on their qualifications, experience, and subject expertise. Our platform displays the hourly rate for each tutor on their profile, so you can quickly compare prices and make an informed decision.

Payment Processor Fee: When making a payment on TutorDB, a third-party payment processor charges a non-refundable fee, usually around 3%. This fee is not set by TutorDB and is charged directly by the payment processor. If students use an international credit card, the payment processor may charge an additional fee ranging from 1% to 1.5%. If the payment is made in a currency other than USD, the exchange rate will be determined by the payment processor based on the market rate at the time of payment.

Technology Fee: Each time students purchase credit through a method of payment, a one-time technology fee of 2.5% will be deducted from the paid amount. Upon request, students can ask for a reimbursement of their account credit at any time, and in such cases, the prorated technology fee will be reimbursable.
