Featured Requests: How to Increase Visibility for Your Tutoring Request?
Featured requests are a great way to increase the visibility of your tutoring request and get more responses from potential tutors. Tutor DB offers two ways to make your request featured:
Feature request during creation: When you create a new tutoring request on Tutor DB, you'll have the option to select the "Featured Request" checkbox in the final stage of the process. By selecting this option, your request will be displayed prominently on the Tutor DB homepage, increasing the likelihood that it will be seen by tutors who are a good fit for your needs. The cost of featuring your request is currently a flat rate of $2.
Upgrade request after creation: If you've already created a tutoring request but didn't feature it initially, you can still upgrade it to a featured request by navigating to "My Requests" from the side menu, selecting the request you want to upgrade, and clicking on the "Upgrade Request" button. This will open a modal where you can select the "Featured Request" option and complete the payment process. Each time you make a request featured, it will remain featured for 24 hours. Users have the option to make their requests featured as many times as they want. The 24-hour window starts from the time they complete the process.
It's important to note that the fee for featuring your request will be deducted from your available credit on Tutor DB. If you don't have enough credit, you'll need to do a credit top-up before you can feature your request. Upon clicking on the "Upgrade Request" button, a modal will appear where you can select the "Featured Request" option and complete the payment process. The fee for featuring your request will be deducted from your available credit.
Overall, featuring your tutoring request is a great way to increase your chances of finding the right tutor quickly and efficiently. Whether you choose to feature your request during the creation process or upgrade it later on, Tutor DB makes it easy to get your request noticed by qualified tutors who are ready to help.
